Introduction

A few months ago I begun to seriously toy with the idea of starting a blog. (Since May, 2020 to be exact). What would I write about? Can I write to capture an audience? Am I interesting enough or intriguing enough to sustain and or maintain an audience?

Today, I finally mustered the courage using my own quote to guide me: "Great possibilities lie on the other side of fear."

It's how to get to the other side of fear- that's my fear. How do I cross that ocean? How do I jump that hurdle? What is on the other side of fear? This side of fear is safe. I'm here, aren't I? So it must be safe. Answer: not necessarily. Where you are does not mean that's where you are meant to be. Where you are is not the end; it is just a part of the journey.

I am not brave. I am just an ordinairey women. An ordinairey woman about to begin my journey to the other side of fear. Come along with me. Invite your friends. Together we can do this. Many of you have been waiting since forever to take that leap of faith, that first step into possibilities, into greatness, into your purpose. There will be highs/ hi 's' and lows. There will be smiles and tears. There will be ebbs and flows.

I need the company and support for this unknown journey because as the African proverb says: "If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together."

I am ready to leave this spot. Are you?

  1. I am extremely happy that you have decided to embark on your journey into the unknown. I firmly believe that this journey will mark the beginning of something new and exciting. At the end of this journey we will no longer refer to ourselves, or be referred to as “Ordinary Women.” We will be the Extraordinary Women who were brave enough to cross over into the unknown.

  2. You go girl, God doesn't give us a spirit of fear but of power, and of love and a sound mind...some of us will embrace these words, some wont...I know you have!
